All About Me ^_^ |

This page is set up with some of my favourite sites on the internet.
So I thought I might as well tell you a little bit about myself. Perhaps
if my interests are similiar to yours, you may enjoy the links below.
I really like reading and listening to music. Right now my favourite
bands are Bush, Stabbing Westward, NIN, and more:) but this is about me.
Sort of egotistical, but...here we go!

I adore birds...They're so gorgeous. So many different varities everywhere! I suppose I became fascinated with the when I was little. I used to just
watch them soar around and wish I could do the same. I'm not an expert on birds, i.e., I don't know any of their latin names, but I do enjoy them. I also adore learning about Greece and Rome, or mideval England. I used to love to imagine that I lived
those time periods, and met all of the 'pioneers' of thought, speech, philosphy,
art, music, science, etc. I also love space, altho I would be scared to go up
there. If I lived in a time where it was already integrated (like sci-fi worlds),
then I would have no problem with it, but I'm not very brave, and we're just
entering the beginnings of such a life. Btw, I do realise that I've spelled some
words wrong, esp. mideval. Its not that I don't care, but rather I don't have a
spell checker with this HTML page. ^_^
But enough about me..what about what I like??

Television |

I don't really watch that much telly anymore. I've gotten too busy.
But when I do sit down, its usually to watch comedy, anime/cartoons,
or sci-fi. I love Forever Knight, M*A*S*H, and Star Trek. The one
thing that I appreciate about tv the most is that it opens the world
to your mind and imagination. There are so many ideas and philosophies
that are shown on television. Tres cool!

Some of my favourite cartoons from when I was young are: Thunder Cats
(now on Cartoon Network!- wish I had it:), Dungeons and Dragons (my
absolute favourite hands down), Voltron, The Smurfs, and My Little
Ponies. I still like watching cartoons today, mainly due to the
lack of quality television.

Books and stuff |

My dream is to become a writer, altho I know it won't happen. I'd love to stay at home in an idyllic setting (beach, cottage, mansion ^_~) and get paid to write books. I'd probably write sci-fi/fantasy, or more likely: romance. 
Yes, romance. I adore
romance novels. Smut, Trashy novels, whatever, as long as it has
a plot and a happy ending, I adore it:) But it does have to have
a plot- I'm not THAT shallow. ^_^ My favourite book is Ten Little
Indians or And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. They are
both titles to the same novel, but I perfer the latter to the former.
I feel that it matches the mood more. This novel blew me away
when I first read it, and it still does to this day. Just the
intricacies that Ms. Christie put into her book...its just amazing.
That anyone could think of that plot just astounds me. But anyways....
